Picnic at Niagara on The Lake

A must-go tourist attraction in Toronto is of course Niagara Falls. And since I am currently a tourist this month, we will be staying at Niagara falls area for a few days.
Advanced warning as usual: SO MUCH PICTURES OF THE NIAGARA FALLS
Hey dont blame me for taking so much pictures, its too amazing, you just have to capture it AND share it. (yes, your welcome)

This is Niagara On The Lake
Its an area near Niagara falls but more like parks and shopping area.
We had a great picnic there and went shopping on cute stores. Yes I found interesting stuff as usual that I will show you guys.

So.. it takes about 2 hours to get there and we stopped by the vineyard along the long highway.

Then off to a park to set our picnic :)

Eating picnic lunch with a mouthful of swag!

My new favorite snack slash junk food slash chips slash fat

Its in the biggest package size I ever saw

Then we get to fool around a bit,
Here's an artistic shot of my dear pretty cousin.

Oh, we found a moustache-like leaf soooo yeaaah...

Next stop is Niagara on the Lake. (which is kind of weird because I didnt see any lake :s)
This is such a pretty little town. Cute stores and shops and lots of beautiful flowers.

This is one of the cute store I found.

Then, MORE FLOWERSSSS!! lalalalallalalalalalalaa

Weird toilet sign. Got me confused for a while there.
Hmm, which way do I go?
*one of it is a trap* :O

These random stuff I found in the stores. :D

YES, christmas decoration store!
I took silently took pictures around the stores, I took a risk of being kicked out of the store to entertain you readers! Your welcome! Hope you like the glass pickles christmas decorations!

Found one of the fun-est store ever. Its actually an Ice cream shop but they have the most punniest cow related merchandise.
Check out their website and store samples here: http://www.cows.ca/

CHOCOLATES!

Oh forgot to mention that it was so very hot that day! So the sign on this store successfully invited us in.
and so I found this interesting one size shirt. It looks like a kids size shirt but it can magically stretch into an adult size shirt!
Here's a video of me trying to show you how stretchy it was. Emphasizing on the word "trying to".
Hey, don't blame me. I'm holding a camera on my other hand AND I'm silently recording this hoping that the shopkeeper won't kick me out. Akh! Things I do to satisfy my easily-amused-self.

THEN! OFF TO NIAGARA FAAALLLSSSS!!!

Mount Tremblant (Day 3 1/2) + video of day 2

In the morning, I went to the nearby lake and tried kayak-ing. It was all good except the time when I tried to navigate the kayak.

Then I went to another LUGE RIDEE!!
WOOHOOO!!!

Then we got on the gondola again to the very top to see the view from what is called THE TOWER.
Since we're only gonna spend half-a-day in Mount tremblant before we're going to Ottawa, we decided to deeply inhale and immerse our souls in nature's fresh air from the mountain top for the last time. (Y)

Its a 3 story high tower made of hard wood on top of Mount Tremblant. It was beautiful!

The view was amazing!! Yes btw I'm wearing my eagles theme shirt from my old school. #GOEAGLES
And I just found out from my cousin that the eagle logo is from philadelphia eagle's football team.
So please dont be confused, its my school's mascot.

Anyways, the weather is soo nice I can see the pretty clouds.

But the wind is crazy. Its so fast it almost blew away my shirt...while I was wearing it.. literally.
I almost went topless.

Here's my sister with her hair being all crazy and flying and stuff

Haha funny thing. My dad takes pictures with his new ipad and his finger blocked the camera corner, and he didnt notice it then. So that explains the finger marks on the corner of the picture. Silly dad.

Here's the pretty clouds close-up. God's artwork.

 *sings* THE HILLSSS ARE ALIVEEE.

Flowersssssssss

Oh!
Here's the day 2 video I promised you about. Please dont judge my looks and poses in this video. I know I look like crepe, but I've been hiking for 3 hours and inspiration clogged. So yeah.. enjoy it anyways.

The song I used is a French song by an artist named Mika.
Title : Elle Me Dit
The meanings has nothing to do with the video. I just liked the tunes and also since I cant understand it.

Hahaha I just remembered a very funny conversation we had with my cousin during the 3 hour hike. Well, it goes something like this.

As we were walking and climbing the rocks and forest, we kept looking down on our feet to find which way to land our foot. And so it happens, we were also talking pretty loudly, thinking that there's no one but us in the woods. This is what we were conversing about. unnecessary yet interesting.
A: graaah my boob itches. Whats up with that?
B: Maybe you're too tired and sweat alot.
A: My mom said that if your boob itches, it means its growing.
B: what?! really? My boob...

And then, at that moment, we looked up and found two senior couples sitting to rest from hiking right in front of us, blankly staring at us and putting a shocked/i-heard-that face. We.were.so.embarassed.

They said, "Yeap, we heard it. How are you doing ladies? You're getting close, so hang on."

And we smiled awkwardly and walked(hiked) away. Laughing so hard after we're far enough from them, thinking if we go faster, we wouldnt meet them anymore and be embarassed and stuff.
Ha. it didnt work. They catch on to us. These senior couples looks stronger than we are and they're prolly in their 60s. Bravo to them.

Okay changing subject. wow this is a long post. Sorry guys.

My blackberry still doesnt work. Still no internet connection found. So sorry friends, I cant contact you yet :(

But oh well, I will still keep updating....in a slow pace. So please be patient. Thank you for reading guys.

Goodbye Tremblant, see you next time.
Next stop. Ottawa.

Mount Tremblant (Day 2)

Okay, I have accomplished so much on this 2nd day. Taken wayy too much pictures. And so I will compile a video and it will be up in the end of the post. (or next post, because compiling video is not an easy job for a lazy person such as me)
Warning: This is a long post. Lots of pictures tho so bear with it!

What we did today:
1. 9 am - 12 pm = HIKING
2. 12 pm - 1 pm = Lunch at the mountain top after hiking for 3 waffles hours
3. 2 pm - 3pm = Mini golf
4. 4 pm - 4.30 pm = Luge ride
5. Lots of eating, shopping, more eating.

okay the timeline is so messed up but its basically what I did.

HIKING

Our route is the letter C and we started at the letter I first.
and so after 1 hour we reached the (look at the you are here sign from the map).
L.O.L huh?! 2 (and prolly a half more cuz I stop to rest alot) hours more till we reached the top.
(Videos and panoramic shots and achievement shots will be in the vids, they're just too many)

SO TIRING!!! BUT WHO CARES COZ WE REACHED THE TOP!!

Was so happy and felt very proud of the poor-physical-challenged-weak-lazy-little me managed to hike up the mountains. *screams on top of the mountain (literally)* ;')

"We deserved an award and reward for this" - Feli

Then we went down with the gondola after lunch. Amazing view here.
Remember how I said Mount Tremblant is a ski resort. Yeah, in summer it looks weird.
But in Winter, all these will be covered in hardcore snow, and it will look like this.

Just kidding. I dont actually know how it looks like but I image it covered in white snow like this. Anywaayss....

ON TO THE...

MINI GOLF

*dramatic music*

Its a serious game okay! As you can see from my facial expression and body language, this game is very challenging.
Extra concentration and patience is required.
....

I finished 2nd last. BUT HEY, at least I didnt finished last!
It was scorching hot tho. Insane summer heat.

Luge Ride

I forgot how to pronounce it "louge" / "luj" / "laj". Oh! its pronounced FUN.
This is a really great reward for me after the 3 hour hike. THE LUGE RIDE WAS SO MUCH FUN!!
For those of you who does not know what Luge is, go look it up in google. :p
For those who havent tried it, GO TRY! Google how to try it also.

So we go up the hill again with an open gondola. See those tracks? Those are the luge tracks and its a downhill so we can slide down with our luge cart(?).

THIS WAS INTENSE YOW!!
The ride lasted about 5 minutes (if you go slowly)
There's lotsof sharp turns, so it was fun!

SHOPPING! well, eye shopping actually.

and so I messed around the village. All cool yow.

#yeahsanta

Awkward rock climbing pose. #yeahbuddy

AND THEN I FOUND THE.CUTEST.THING.EVER!

Then onto another gondola.

Here's a view from the gondola

AND THEN WE DINE!!

Nice looking pizza eh? Half eaten becoz we so hungry yow. Those were some good pizzas.
Thumbs up.

This is called Beaver Tails, usually found in ski resorts such as this.
Its a deep fried dough shaped like a beaver's tail.
Then you can put a bunch of toppings on top. Mine here is Cookies and Cream. Despite the appearance of the cookies and creams that I now realize does not look as appetizing, it was still so good.
Can't wait to try other flavors too :D

OHOHOHO!! Then I ate an interesting snack.

MAPPLE TAFFY
Its basically mapple syrup, but it has a cool way to make it taffy. ;)

Yeah, You're suppose to wait for 1 minute until you can start rolling it, but I just cant wait. So I started when I am not supposed to yet. Thus, I had to roll slowly just to make sure it freezes completely, and I was holding a camera on the other hand. I apologize for the long tedious mapple taffy action.

THEN

THE POUTINE

This is the most delicious junk-food ever. It is french fries from fresh potatoes covered in bacon, ham, chicken, more bacon, cheese, mushroom and gravy sauce. H-E-A-V-E-N

Served fresh hot from the oven! Yum!

~~~~~
All tummies filled and now onto the bed (sofa-bed) to rest
Good night :) See you in the next post tomorow :)
